Ethereum Gas Fee Calculator
Enter ETH price and Gwei to calculate the USD cost of any Ethereum transaction: ETH transfers, ERC-20 transfers, Uniswap swaps, Aave supply and borrow, NFT mints, and more. Full comparison table plus L2 cost estimate showing savings on Arbitrum and Base.
How This Tool Works
Ethereum gas fees are calculated using the EIP-1559 fee market formula introduced in the London upgrade.
Fee (ETH) = Gas Used × Gas Price (Gwei) ÷ 1,000,000,000
Fee (USD) = Fee (ETH) × ETH Price
L2 Estimate ≈ Mainnet Fee ÷ 133
Gas used is fixed per transaction type (e.g., ETH transfer = exactly 21,000 units). Gas price (Gwei) fluctuates with network demand. The comparison table shows costs for all common transaction types simultaneously. The L2 estimate is a conservative approximation based on post-EIP-4844 blob data costs on Arbitrum/Base.
