That core clock is not “Schwab hours.” Pre ending at 9:25 a.m. and after-hours starting at 4:05 p.m. are not rounding errors — do not flatten them to 9:30 and 4:00. EXTO is described as 24-hour continuous each market day on that international page; destinations named there include exchanges and market makers. The session itself is still broker access.
thinkorswim is a Schwab platform, not a listing venue. An EXT order from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. is still broker access. The 9:25 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. gap on the international pre-market row is not a hidden auction Schwab owns. Core auctions at 9:30 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. belong to the exchanges that run them. Schwab can route; it does not become the book. EXTO orders expire 8:00 p.m. ET unless marked GTC on that page — still ATS/broker access, still not Dec 6 exchange overnight.
Schwab 7:00 a.m. is not Arca 4:00 a.m.
Five different objects, even when the clock face rhymes. Webull broker pre-market starts at 4:00 a.m. ET. TradeStation broker access starts at 6:00 a.m. Schwab international pre-market starts at 7:00 a.m. IEX exchange pre-market starts at 8:00 a.m. NYSE Arca exchange Early starts at 4:00 a.m. NYSE American Early also starts at 7:00 a.m. — that is an exchange session, not Schwab. Same stamp, different object. Nasdaq and MEMX list 4:00 a.m. early as exchanges; that is not Webull’s 4:00 a.m. broker window.
If a chart’s “pre-market” candle opens at 4:00 a.m., Schwab’s international pre window had not started. A 7:05 a.m. Schwab-routed print is not proof that Arca, American, or IEX printed it. EXTO overnight is ATS, not Dec 6 exchange overnight
Arca, Nasdaq, and Cboe EDGX list overnight 9:00 p.m. to 4:00 a.m. as planned for 6 December 2026, subject to SEC, SIP, and DTCC readiness. As of 25 August 2026 that exchange overnight is not live. Schwab EXTO is a different object: broker overnight access described as 24-hour continuous on the international page. Do not write EXTO as the Arca overnight session. Do not write Dec 6 as live because a broker already routes overnight. A 23/5 exchange envelope with a planned 8:00 p.m.–9:00 p.m. pause is not this broker row.
Cboe C1 equity-options GTH is TBA (C2026081001). Index-options GTH is a different product and a different venue. Neither is Schwab EXTO. Off-core equity prints typically carry sale condition T and are not last-sale eligible. Liquidity outside the core is often thinner and spreads wider; this page invents no spread, volume, or fill-rate numbers. Trading halts still matter in regular hours under LULD and news-halt rules; this profile invents no halt counts.
