Portfolio Rebalancer
Enter your current holdings and target allocation percentages. The tool calculates exactly how much to buy or sell of each asset to reach your desired portfolio weighting.
How This Tool Works
Portfolio rebalancing restores your target asset weights after price movements have caused your allocation to drift. It systematically forces you to sell high and buy low.
Target Value for Asset = Total Portfolio Value × Target %
Buy/Sell Amount = Target Value − Current Value
Enter up to 5 assets with their current dollar value and target allocation percentage. Target percentages must sum to 100%. Optionally add new capital to deploy alongside the rebalance.
Most investors rebalance when allocations drift more than 5–10% from target, or on a quarterly schedule — frequent rebalancing incurs unnecessary fees and tax events.
