What it is
What the Windows app records
DennTech Trade Journal is a Windows app. You keep a journal of past fills and a calendar of those fills. It does not scan, alert, or place trades. It is not a bot.
The record
The day card is a record of fills already taken that day:
- P/L
- count
- win rate
- long vs short
- hold time
Week and month are rollups of those day cards. Same numbers, summed. A rollup is a record of what you already did. It is not a promise of the next day, week, or month.
Keys
License keys stay on the PC. Nothing about your fills leaves the machine for this journal.
Not this
- Not a trading bot.
- Not a profit tool. Past fills are a record, not a result.
- Win rate on the day card is a count of past fills. It is not an edge and not a forecast.
Why traders keep a journal
Record the fills. Then review the mistakes.
Most traders who use a journal and a P/L calendar are not hunting a magic number. They log past fills so they can review what they already did — and spot where the strategy or the execution slipped. A flat trade list hides sequence. A month grid makes streaks, overtrading days, and giveback sessions easier to see. That review is a record of work already taken. It is not a promise of the next trade.
What the calendar is for
- See green and red days together so clusters and streaks are visible.
- Spot day-of-week or session habits that a table of rows hides.
- Open a day and read the fills behind that cell — context, not a forecast.
What the journal is for
- Keep timestamped fills: symbol, side, size, entry/exit, P/L.
- Separate a planned loss from a rules break when you review.
- Use week and month rollups of the same record — sample size over one lucky day.
Honest limits
Win rate on a day card is a count of past fills. It is not an edge and not a forecast. A red day can be normal variance or a repeated mistake — the journal helps you look, it does not decide for you. DennTech Trade Journal stores the record on your Windows PC. It does not place orders. It does not claim profits.
Traders who get value from journaling usually review on a schedule (daily capture, weekly look-back), tag what broke the plan, and change one rule at a time after enough fills — not after three emotional losses.

Calendar and Journal
Local Windows desk shots. Not a bot. The numbers are a record of past fills, not a promise.
What the calendar shows
- A month grid of days you already traded — each day is a record of past fills.
- Day cells show that day’s P/L and trade count so streaks and clusters are visible at a glance.
- Month rollups sit above the grid: total trades, win rate, net P/L, and related counts for the period.
- Use it in review to ask which days broke the plan — not to predict tomorrow. Click a day for the fills behind that cell.
What the journal shows
- A timestamped list of past fills: date, symbol, direction, size, entry/exit, and P/L.
- Summary cards for the loaded set — totals and win/loss counts from fills already on the desk.
- Filters for source, result, date range, and symbol so you can isolate a setup or session when you look for repeated mistakes.
- Keys stay on the PC. This view stores and shows fills you already took — it does not place orders or claim an edge.
Both views together
The calendar is the date view. The journal is the fill list. Together they give you the same workflow most serious traders use: record every fill, then review for strategy and execution mistakes — on a sample, not on one emotional day.
